Double Decker was established in 2008 and is growing into a thriving establishment. When it comes to quality, everything is made fresh to order. Our commitment to quality starts with our hamburgers.  We use Niman Ranch USDA Prime Beef, raised humanely and naturally with no hormones or antibiotics on family-owned farms.  We use the highest grade potatoes and cut them right in the store, one potato at a time. We also make our delicious shakes from Mitchell’s ice cream.

 

Our primary menu selections include Niman Ranch hamburgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, buffalo wings (made with our homemade buffalo sauce), garden salads, and sides consisting of French fries and onion rings. We use only the very highest quality ingredients available in preparing the menu fresh daily.

  1. Does Double Decker deliver?
    Answer: Double Decker delivers throughout the Hayes Valley of San Francisco and beyond(call for delivery range). Minimum size order for delivery has to be $15. Please allow us 30 minutes to 45 minutes advance notice for large delivery orders.
  2. Do you serve beer or wine?
    Answer:  Yes, we serve both beer and wine.
  3. Do you have outdoor seating?
    Answer:  Yes, we have outdoor seating.
  4. Who supplies your beef?
    Answer:  We use Niman Ranch USDA Prime Beef,
    raised humanely and naturally with no hormones or antibiotics on family-owned farms.  
  5. How are Double Decker burgers and chicken sandwiches served?
    Answer:  We put condiments on all our burgers and sandwiches. Each is served with green leaf lettuce, fresh tomato, red onions, pickles, and mayonnaise. Our patties are lightly seasoned and cooked medium unless otherwise requested.  Our chicken sandwiches are lightly seasoned and cooked on the grill.
  6. Are side orders included with your burgers?
    Answer:  No, side orders and beverages are not included with a burger or sandwich. They can be ordered separately on the side.
  7. Do you take reservations?
    Answer:  Yes, please call ahead for reservations.
  8. Do you accept phone orders?
    Answer:  Yes, please call 15 minutes ahead of pick-up and your takeout order will be ready when you arrive.
  9. Can I place an order by Fax?
    Answer:  Yes, please fax orders to (415) 865-0750.
  10. What credit cards do you accept?
    Answer: We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
  11. What are your hours?
    Answer: We open daily from 10:30AM – 9:00PM. We also have Happy Hour: Monday – Friday from 3:00PM – 6:00PM (1/2 price on all tap beers, sides, and buffalo dozen).
